To speak with one of our experienced and therapeutic Adoption Support Workers (ASW), either:

Once we have your details, we'll book you in for an hour-long consultation on Microsoft Teams.

This service is there for you, to help with any adoption related question, no matter how big or small we are here to listen and support. Some common adoption support needs are:

  • challenges with emotional connections
  • challenges with emotional regulation
  • boundary pushing and challenging behaviour
  • child-to-parent violence
  • poor mental health (child)
  • emotional wellbeing of parents
  • sibling dynamics
  • identity development
  • approaches to life story
  • challenges in school
  • neurodiversity vs attachment
  • sensory processing
  • therapeutic parenting.

After we call you, the ASW might offer you a Short Intervention. This will allow them to support you for a period of up to 3 months.

If after the call, they think you need more support than what can be offered on Short Intervention, they will book you in for an Adoption Support Assessment of Need.
